How are those 2 roads? I,ll be tenting it in late August and was hoping someone could tell me how the roads are.Thankyou.

 

Oh yeah the highway is paved. I personally haven't been up that way to Stewart B.C./Hyder for about 10 years. Nice ride. Lot of mosquitos and grizzly in August. the bears are usually preoccupied with eating spawning salmon. Mosquitos ? Stay moving and bring good repellent. If you can also ride down to Terrace B.C. and then on to Prince Rupert you be rewarded with one of the prettiest drives in Canada. Along the Skeena River. Lots of rainy days in Prince Rupert but you can Pub indoors and have a fresh seafood meal. Enjoy.
