Being new to this forum I've been looking through threads and came across this one .... One word .... WOW !!! What an adventure ... What a spectacular write up and the photos are awesome !!! Very Well Done !!
Last june I spent 10 days cruising around jasper . Base camp was a bed and breakfast in Hinton . Did a lot of sight seeing and racked up 4000 km . We have a beautiful world out there and it's better to view it on two wheels rather than four .

Thanks for bringing this forward. My brother in law and I are riding to Alaska in 2022. I’ll be 75. Not going this year as we still don’t know if the borders will be open.
Ive spent a lot of time working in Alaska, even rented Harley’s there several times. I’ve ridden from Fairbanks and Anchorage to Seward, Homer, Valdez, Talkeetna, Wasilla. Been to most places in Alaska with population over 1000. (That was by bush plane)
Thanks again for bringing this forward. I will send it to my Brother in law.

I leave July 11th for Sturgis where I will meet my riding partner who is riding in from NJ. From there we head north to Fairbanks, the Anchorage, Homer, etc. if all goes well, we’ll be back to Sturgis around August 15th. I have read and enjoyed every Alaska ride trip report.
