I’m riding a 2015 Freewheeler and I’m hoping to do some riding in the USA this coming riding season. Apparently there is an easy way to convert my odometer, speedometer etc.. from metric to standard, can anyone tell me how?

 

Tagging on to this one, never heard of that.Maybe your local HD shop could assist with that one ?

 

Took your sage advice and emailed my dealer, here’s what I got,

“I had to practice on some bikes here, soooo if you turn the bike on, toggle to your odometer where it shows you your total number Km's on your bike, than push and hold the toggle switch, after a few seconds it should go from Km's to miles.
Now it only show miles in distance driven, your speedometer will still be Km's
Hope this works “

As the Freewheeler is still under wrap, I haven’t tried it yet, once we get into double digits temperature wise, I’ ll venture into the garage and try it.

 

Simple fix I did last year going to the States. Cut a 1" by 10" long piece of white paper and printed a conversion chart on it., i.e. 40 mph + 60k, all the way up to 90mph. Taped this to inside of windshield with clear tape ! You soon memorize it as you ride along.
