Default CV - Just a little popping

Just a little popping with full throttle release when I getdown to 2000 rpm or so. Crack the throttle just a bizilionth and it goes away.Otherwise the bike runs great and good mileage.

TC88 with Andrews 21N cams, Supertrap 2to1. Newer CV 40(27421-99C)unmolested with stock needle and 2 washers .050 thick total. Two turnsout. I had the sportster needle in andit was worse all around.

Plugs look good to me but it is really hard to read these days, I can't buy pure gas, all is 10% e.

Am I lean or rich? I was thinking about taking one or bothwashers off because I am deducing I am just a hare too rich still off throttle. Any ideas?

What pilot jet? A 46 usually works.

Decell pop.
Check all the exhaust joints for air leaks first.

The "10%e" is causing tuning issues for some. Be sure you tune on the "rich" side to counter act the effects of the ethanol.

What do your plugs say?

ie check both exhaust and intake.

I just had gears and cams added to my bike and it to has that little hiccup? Right between 1500 and 2000 rims as well. Other than that it too runs sweet. I want to say it also has #43jrt as well.
I'm thinking about the dyno tune to see if it helps.

Air/idle screw needs to be 2 1/2-3 turns out, and adjust jetting from there.
On an engine with a poor signal to the carb, the larger the jet orifice needed.
