New CV51 Carb

New CV51 Carb
I am working on a 2003 FLHR Road King. I have installed a 4.375 crank, 110 cylinders and 10.5 pistons. I'll be running D&D Fatcat exhaust.
I purchased a new Screaming Eagle CV51 carb, manifold and air cleaner kit. The instructions show the main jet is a #230 and the slow jet as a #48. Are these jets a good place to start and what other sizes should I have on hand if needed? I also do not want to run the head venting back into the carb. What are some choices there?
Thanks,
Tony

51 is an excellent carb. Run one on a 2000 116 ci Dyna.. I'd start with what's in the carb and go from there. You might want to get a 50 pilot and jets 2 steps larger and smaller. IIRC I ended up with a 50 pilot and 220 main.. Stock needle worked best.. Set AFR with an LM1 and bung on the front cylinder.
