Any body used the pingel kit I’ve heard the directions are sketchy

There have been a few detailed posting on efi to carb conversion.
Available with a search.
I would imagine that you are researching the M & M to carb conversion and that bike is a touring model.
The pingel kit was the item used in every post i came across.
Any reason for conversion?

I have an 81 FLT with the ugly GW looking tank, found a MM tank cheap. That’s the reason.

I used that kit in my conversion - easy to figure out. I think the problem is on the older tanks with the metal pickup that needs to be cut off or drilled out - my 2001 was very easy.

I used the Pingel on a 2000. No problem that I recall.🤷‍♂️

Just used it in august, there’s a reason everyone goes with that setup.

Did they plug the bung, and drill new one?
