Question sportster carb help

(96 sportster) i just found my overflow line just hanging from my carb does anyone know where the other end connects to?
any feed back is appreciated. ive looked up multiple;e diagrams videos etc... i think this is also whats may be causing blow by in my air filter possibly...

if it has one, looking front of the carb, will be on the left side coming from the float bowl. not all have it as mine does not but i have an over-flow/vent line from the tank.

Runs down side of case - drains to ground - that line is not causing anything with your air filter

Ed is quite right - on all my bikes it runs down to the rear of the transmission and hangs down below the underside of the bike.

It's an overflow line for the carb bowl.. There is a standpipe in the float bowl connected to it. If the fuel level gets above the standpipe, it flows out the tube. If the float sticks. it keeps the fuel from dumping on the motor.
