My old intake was stolen and I had another one on for the time being. I just picked up a tear drop SS super with the backing plate and everything what do I need to do to to make the breathers work my old one was different. This is for a 2002 fxdl with SE110 motor.

it looks like you just need the proper hollow breather bolts. check with your local S&S dealer.

Synder191. Did you get it to work? It look like from your pic that the backing plate was not lining up with the breather holes in the head.

 

Looks like the wrong backing plate for your bike.
