Default 2002 Fxdwg3 s&s carb with screaming agile heavy breather?

I recently bought a screaming eagle heavy breather kit. I am looking into getting a super E carb to add some power? Will everything fit right I do not want the teardrop intake since I bought this heavy breather for 400 plus? What else will I have to purchase to make this intake fit on an s&s super E

Can’t help on what it takes to bolt up the breather but if you’re expecting a power increase, you won’t get it just by changing the carb. The stock CV is more than adequate. I’d suggest you install the heavy breather to the stock carb and tune it.

If you get any increase in performance by changing carb it is likely to be very little IMHO, just fit your filter to your current c/v carb and adjust to suit. If you want an increase in performance talk to one of our tuning sponsors. As jb points out above, a set of cams, perhaps with a little head work plus a decent exhaust and suitable tuning of your carb will bring you dividends.

The screw pattern on a super E is different then than the one for the CV. You'll have to make a custom adapter. As stated, if the motor is stock or even mild build keep the CV.

Super E uses a different intake manifold too. You can get an adapter for carb to AC for some models. The super E may give an snappier response but the power increase won't be noticeable.
