You can't go wrong with the EVL-3010... Works great in a stock motor, It also likes a little bump in compression....

Bob Wood 6 would be a good choice that we have used for well over 20 plus years here.
Be aware that HD issued a service bulletin years ago to "inspect and/or replace" lifters at 25K.
S&S would be the best choice there, and without saying, a full-needle roller cam bearing also.

I have seen this statement made a number of times and I haven't been able to locate this particular service bulletin. Can you please provide the service bulletin number?

Trust the statement and heed the warning. Otherwise, your gambling. Especially if you go in the cam chest and don't replace the bearing. Depending on the year, the "bad" bearing has a plastic roller cage, and the "good" bearing has no cage and is a full compliment of rollers. It is a Koyo-Torrington B-138 bearing.

The issue (and comment) I am referring to is in regards to the lifters, not the cam bearing. Hopefully, Hillsidecycle that spoke of a service bulletin will provide the service bulletin number.

You shouldn’t need the number to realize that the lifters fail. Inspect or better yet replace them at 25,000 miles if they make it that far. I believe the install instructions for the Screaming Eagle lifters even has the recommendation.

I wouldn't think any one would keep a service bulletin from over 25 years ago.. but you could always call Harley Davidson and see if they could oblige you..
