Just purchased an 04 883 other owner had put on drag pipes and never jetted it it seems to have issues idling and also wants to stall at low idle in first gear i know it needs more fuel but have no idea what size i would need or what size is in it im certain everything else is stock any help would be appreciated

 

probably has a 42 pilot in it. before replacing it, try to see if mixture screw can compensate for it, if not go up a size. then again, what rpm are trying to idle at. do not over look the air filter.

 

Also, dont idle theze bikes low, something about the oil pump needing higher RPM's. If you idle it to sound like Potato, Potato, you may have oil starvation. just my irrelevant $.02
