S&S Intake Loose

I have a 99 Fat Boy with S&S intake. I took the Carb off today and noticed that I could move the intake up and down by hand. Is this a problem?

I would re-torque the intake bolts to prevent any leaks.

It's not a problem unless you keep moving it and damage the seals. The intake is floating on two rubber seals. It will move no matter how tight the flange bolts are.

Possible it doesn't have the compliance fittings.. the S&S manifold in my '84 FXR bolts up tight to both cylinders...no compliance fittings.
