I have a1981 Heritage Edition that my Dad bought new. It's still in the family and runs like a scalded cat!

I have mine Heritage 619, I bought mine in 1997, it is super cool and get lots of attention. I had my engine rebuilt twice the last time I had done everything, I am currently running synthetic oil, is eager to hear you and others with cultural heritage. This is my first car which I bought in my first income.

i think i might have just stumbled upon one. i checked the numbers on the frame and engine and the Harley code said it was an 80s heritage. its pretty stock except for paint. i didn't know they were this rare if indeed this is what i have.its been sitting for a couple years so could use a little help getting her tuned. i think the man problem is the carb...

Default 1981 FLH Heritage Edition

New to this Forum and need some help getting started with it. I have the '81 FLH Heritage with 21,460 miles on it and all documented maintenance. The only thing I need is a Derby Cover P/N 25450-81. A Harley mechanic in Jamestown, NY degreased looking for a fuel leak and loosened it up and it blew off. Please help me be 100%

It has a dry/belt drive primary and a belt final drive. I also don't have an original seat, luggage rack, point cover and derby cover. All else is original. For now, until I can round up those parts, I've got aftermarket tins on it, with the original stuff mounted on the shop wall. Good to know there's a group that appreciates these bikes.

I had previously owned this exact 1981 heritage edition sold it in 1985, my friend also owned the same bike what is the chance of that? also owned a 1981 Milwaukee edition sportster orange and black. recently found the original seat on ebay. it was in greely,Colorado. still have an original derby cover for the 1981 heritage still in the original factory sealed package .

my name is Michael I have the original derby cover HD # 25450-81 still in the original factory sealed package. I used to own this bike until 1985 sold it for $5500.00 this is a very valuable piece indeed . I considered putting it on my 1986 heritage softail this year. might consider selling it if the offer was up there enough. can send picture of this derby cover via phone or possibly email let me know my e mail us1395@comcast.net

Default Derby Cover

I know it has been a while since this post, but I was wondering if you still had the derby cover and if it is for sale?
