Hello to everyone, I'm a new member to this forum. I have gotten a lot of enjoyment from my membershipat the corvette forum and look forward to my time here.

Posted are a couple of pics of the softail I recently purchased. It's a 91 w/ 45,000 miles. I saw it and had to have it. Starting to feel as if I acted a little hastily, considering it cost me $7,000. Oh well, figure I may be in about $1500 to the bad, guess it depends on who you are asking. All that aside, I'm a mod freak. Already have some plans for this bike. I'm not sure if I should sell it, try to get my money backand start w/ something more fresh, or keepthis one and get started?

A couple of questions and details of what I want to do. The tanks and fenders will be replaced, widening kitfor rear wheel, new rims, tires, handle bars, and maybe six speed tyranny. The big question is about the EVO motor. I guess it is 1340 cc and 81 ci. I would wantto rebuild the motor w/some high performance up grades. Is the EVO motor as good as any to start w/? In the corvette world, or Chevy high performance I would steer someone away from an LT1 and suggest an LS1. I just want to get started on the right foot.I'm sure I've left out some details, but don't want the post to get to long or wordy. Thanks for your consideration and advice.

Welcome aboard!since you already own this bike, use it as a test bed.The Evo motor is an excellent engine. The after market is full of great choices to dramatically increase hp &tq if you so choose. Then there is Ebay for your accessory choices.Have fun!Dog155
