What needs to be done differently is add a second petcock, there's no hose from side to side that I can see. That or have one on the left and add the connection hose tank to tank.
Did this to the current flat side rubber mount tanks I run on the shovel. Did the cross over with valves to make pulling one easier or could be used as petcock in an emergency.

When someone posts a photo I usually make a point of looking closely and what did I see? You in a thong reflecting in your air cleaner cover lmao!
Started on the tank tonight. I might have to shrink it a bit length-wise and I need to figure out how I want to mount it. Something fancy from underneath that you cant easily see but a royal pain to make work or a tongue out of each end with a bolt into the frame. That'll determine tank length as well. I like how it looks on the bike though.
I might end up with two choppers here. The 20 over front end on the 45 degree neck plus 3 more degrees in the front end makes it seem short about 8 inches. Might end up with fork tubes to get the length I need and marginal function so I took the front end off and put it on my mocked up bobber that had a stock length springer on it knowing the frame would be super high which is a look I also like. Not into choppers with frames that are level to the ground regardless of the front end.
I like this look, has a 21" front wheel, 19 might work too. I'll mix and match to see where I end up but its fun, I'm enjoying the freestyle build for a change.
Criticism always welcome. Went from this (which I really like)
What happens if that wood block wasn't there? I always say you do you - I like the new look but can't come to terms with the oil tank - just too damn bulky and attracts my eye away from the rest of the bike.
