I started with a DNA 250 Pro-Street frame from American Made Online (local to San Diego)

There are a lot of good frames out there now days. I found these guys on Ebay too but since
American Made was in San Diego area, it was a local pickup for me.

This is what I am considering if I take on this project.
I just bought my rotors and rear pulley from American Made off of ebay, and they were a great company to deal with.
BTW how much different is the mounting of a Shovelhead vs. a Evo motor. I'd like to do something different then a Evo or Twin cam.

RE: Insurance for custom bike?
Here is the bike that I want to somewhat duplicate. It is in the new edition of IronWorks magazine. Love the lines of this bike. It looks like a DNA frame also, and it does have a DNA springer front.
