I've recently acquired this motorcycle of a gentleman in the UK
I'm just after some information regarding the build.
It started as a 1979 FXS lowrider superglide
The only piece remaining original is the frame.
Everything has been changed out including the engine from the shovel to a 84 Evo.
I was informed the build was carried out in the USA as this machine was imported in 92.
The stretch tank the bubs bad dogs exhausts, the shovel to a 1984 Evo conservation which
at the time the engine was much preferred because of the reliability and power of the Evo engine. The chain replaced for belt, Kickstarter for electric start etc etc like I say everything has been changed out and executed to the highest standards.
It rides beautifully without issues and I have put 2k miles on this machine in just over 4 months.
It's laying up at the moment for the winter as roads in UK are devastating with salt road grit and grime.
Would love to find original builder of this machine though this is a long shot I imagine

Looks like they turned that bike into a Fatboy, looks good. Trying to find a builder especially pre internet will be a long shot. When I say long shot I mean impossible. If it were me I'd start with punching your VIN into Google to see if by miracle there are any selling records. If there are at least that will give you a region of the country to look at. My advice is to just enjoy your bike and be grateful everything was done professionally...cheers
