Building my first one off.
Hey guys i am thinking about building my first one off custom. What are some good sites for frames and engines and such. I woul dove to go with a used engine maybe a salvaged one? Any ideas?

First thing I would figure out is what type of bike you want? Do you want a softtail dyna Fxr a ridged chopper pro-Street on and on. If you leave it up to me I say www.kennyboyce.com you call them and you can have a custom roller built. I would just get a Crate motor and trans from HD.

I started building a bike in June. Because it is my first bike I did not know where to start, so I headed over to the local bike shop. The shop has been awesome. I basically told them what I was looking to build and they guided me through the process of picking a frame, eng/trans, and all the other parts associated with the build. I have been super privileged to have established a good relationship with the owner of the shop. have become a off the pay roll shop hand. The owner is shedding a plethora of knowledge in my direction.
All in all, check with a local custom bike shop, they should be able to set you in the right direction...
