Harley Davidson Forums - New Guy w/EGS

Howdy, I just found the Detailing forum from the Touring section. I have a brand spankin new 2008 E-Glide Standard. I have some questions that i hope you guys can help answer. First, is any of the non-painted, unchromed metal have a clear coat finish? I'm currently waxing the painted surfaces and appllying chrome polish to the chrome, what works best for the polished metal surface, wax? chrome cleaner? The service manager at my local dealer said to get a good coat or two of wax on the metal before it spots or oxidizes.
