Light Rubbing Compund

Plan on doing a complete detail on the bike.

Will light rubbing compund be OK or will it damage the clear coat?

Thanks,
Sammi

Does it have a bunch of scratches? If so, people recommend Meguier's Scratch-x. If it's just dirt, then Meguier's paint cleaner or polish would work followed by wax. If there aren't scratches, I wouldn't use an abrasive like a rubbing compound unless I had to.

Couple of swirls.

Will try Scratch-x and see what happens.

Thanks,
Sammi

Follow the directions or it won't work.
