Mother's Three Step Process

I know there are numerous opinions on here about what is the best wax to use and I have tried a lot of them, but I tried the Mother's California Gold 3 Step process last weekend and my bike looks better than new.

If you don't know, the three steps are after washing and drying use Step 1 Prewax Cleaner, then Step 2 Glaze Sealer and then when you think your arm is going to fall off go with Step 3 Carnauba Wax.

I did my 05 Road Glide and I went for a ride yesterday and stopped by a dealer and one of the salesmen had just bought an 07 RG in Vivid Black and my 05 Black Cherry paint shined better than his brand new bike, I am very pleased with the results it looks like a sheet of glass over the paint and smooth as a babies butt!!!!!

I am curious if anyone has used an orbital buffer on their bike. I use one on the cars and you can really get a good shine when using the proper wax / cleaner, but I wonder if it wouldn't be a bit too much on the bike. Obviously, I don't have any fairing.

And just so this doesn't appear like a blatant hiking of thread...I second the Mother's product. Good stuff.

We use both rotary and random orbit buffers on almost every bike we detail.

I use the Mother's 3 Stage on my cars, and the wax and chrome polish on the bike. There might be better stuff out there, but it's the best I've used.

Has anyone tried mothers polish and acan of beer.
First you wash your bike, open your can o polish then open your can o beer, get a rag put some polish on it then take the beer, drink the beer andrepeat the process, this has worked for me and I don't get tired, Ive even got some friends involved and man does my bike look good.;)
Not recommended for everyone, please drink responsably:D
