Just a thought, tried to see if there was a thread about this already but couldn't see one. Does anyone actually have a GPS mount for their FXDX or similar bike? If so can someone post some pics. I am not sold on the idea but might be a good feature to have. Then again I can just wait for the Apple Watch to come out and use that lol.

 

I just use the type desined for bicycles bought from ebay Fits all harley bars. Cheap and easy to dismount. I use a cell phone style lanyard on the nav to hook aound the mount for extra safety.

 

Might want to look at the RAM Mounts. I mounted the ball handlebar mount on both bikes so I can mover my GPS from bike to bike in 30 seconds. Not pretty mounts, but they work perfectly.

Check out the eCaddy line of GPS mounts. They are Made in the USA and look aesthetically very nice. LOTS of options for mounting (round handlebar, mirror stem, windshield) as well as waterproof options if you should require that... even different height options for some mounts!
