I made the bags on my kitchen table out of old deployment bags I had leftover. I was broke, so I made them for a temporary fix, but wound up loving them!

Today I received an idle cable for a 2006 Low Rider- I hope it will be a good length with the drag style bars on my bike; if not it looks like custom order time. Th th th that's all folks.

I'm going to mess with the bike a little tonight. First I need to pull the tank/drain the tank. I was digging through a couple storage sheds last night for supplies, rounding things up, and cleared off the workshop desk. I didn't expect the cable to arrive so soon; usually Surdyke takes Much longer.
Edit: got the bike up on the J&S lift (damn I love that thing). I did a precursory check of the idle cable and it appears it will be a perfect fit. Tomorrow I drain and pull the fuel tank.
No judges at this one; there should be a bike night later this season at Rubbles or Holeshot with judges at them.
I arrived early enough to get in to the Kawasaki/Polaris/Mahindra dealer's parking lot; it's the hub of all the action. The beer tent was about 30 feet away; location, location
