Yeah... I used to just lift it into place also. I removed the wheel without the jack... and ended up lying on the garage floor cursing the pain in my hip, my shoulder, etc... The jack really made this a super easy one-person operation. One hand was completely free to locate the spacers and the caliper properly while the other hand worked the jack.

My suggestion: Don't run them sideways through the side windows!

Ordered some body filler and split loom. It's impossible to find quality supplies around here, dammit.

Evercoat Rage Ultra filler because it's specifically rated for silicon bronze welds, of which I now have a lot on my tank.

Techflex F6 Woven (as opposed to braided) split loom. This will be my fourth or fifth go with different braided loom. Fifth time's a charm? I hope. I haven't tried the split stuff but I've got some wires to cover that I'd rather not tear apart to get tube over. The "woven" variant has really dense weave and doesn't fray easily so it should tick all the boxes if the overlap doesn't pucker or get unsightly.

Rode to work today, which I haven't done in a bit. It's been too hot/too wet, or I've had something going on that doesn't allow for riding quite a bit lately... Nice weather, and it felt really good!

It's also nice to walk outside every so often just to take a look...

Never sure whether an update from my bike belongs here or in my build thread but this is big enough I figure I'll be a **** and do both.

I rolled it out of the shop for the first time in over two years. First start (OK, second, after burning off most of the wrap fumes) So close!

(the tail lights aren't really flashing. It's just the frame rate interacting with the PWM control of the lights)

If anybody wants any specific details, pics, or vids about any of the Motogadget stuff running in the background I'm happy to oblige. It has the M-Unit Blue (Bluetooth, wireless go), M-Lock (Keyless NFC lock, backup for the Bluetooth), Motosign indicators, Motoscope Mini gauge, & M-Switch Mini handlebar controls. Full LED lighting all around.

I agree, nice little video.

Was suppose to rain here AGAIN today, so I drove to work. NO RAIN, so I could have ridden.

Got home and... yes, it started raining, so no afterwork ride. Never remember rain in the forecast EVERY DAY, for weeks.

A wish for a great and safe week to all. tp dd50
