What did you do to your Dyna today?
That looks like it's a little more "vertical" than it probably should be. I bet if you turned around the top clamps on the forks, so that the bolt was toward the back instead of the front, that would cause it to lean back more toward you, and should put the top at the right spot for you. I had a 19" MS Fats, and it was right at my vision line or just below it.

Took off the old exhaust in preparation for some new RR3. Cobras will be in the classifieds shortly.
Possibly going tomorrow and buying it back!!!! Dealer has it marked down to just barely more than they gave me in trade!!!! I want my Dyna back!!!! So many awesome memories on that bike.

Traded it for a Switchback, lighter but not near as much fun as the DC.
Would rather have my original Dyna back too, but mine isn't for sale. the New owner loves it.
If you want it, go get it, as it's only money. tp dd50
I agree. Traded off my FXDC for an Ultra, way too heavy.

In total agreement with more fun on Dyna. I am changing suspension on my 03 WG to do long trips again. I like my 16 RGU and it is great eating up miles to ride destinations; but I know the Sisters and Winding Stairs would of been more exciting on the WG.

Been there, done that. Rode the Sisters on an '08 RG, chasing a friend on an R1150RT. No way...scraped the board bottoms all to pieces. The DC would have been much more fun, but hadn't owned it yet... tp dd50
Shocks and slip ons
Installed rear shocks, put stock seat back on, new slip ons, further forward mids, DK tank lift and started to relocate turn signals from bars to forks.
Next is getting a new seat, bars, tossing on a Mikuni carb, hydraulic cam chain upgrade and cams, and ignition module. Would like to have all this done over winter but we’ll see.
the exhaust sounds so much better than the SE2’s that were on it.
found some NOS D&D slip ons at a great price so I had to check em out! Glad I did
