I'm really happy with the Lyndall Xtreme pads. In fact, I'm probably gonna go DOWN a grade on rear, to the Gold. They bite just a bit too hard for me. Wilwood GP310 caliper, though, so not sure how that compares to a stock one.

I prefer the organic Kevlar pads from EBC.... Less dust, great breaking and less heat produced...

When I rode on memorial day weekend a truck in front of me hit his brakes hard - I don't know if he was brake checking me or what. I was not riding that close to him. I squeezed the front brake lever, a little on the rear brake. I wasn't stopping well. Pulled harder on the front lever, still getting close to the rear end of his truck, then I locked up the rear and full pull on the front brake. I just stopped in the nick of time, bike stalled out.

Puckered up so tight you couldn't get a needle up there with a sledgehammer, lol!

The brakes suck!

Those Lyndall Xtremes on the front sound good. I'll give them a shot!

Feeling glad i didn't store my bike for the winter. A nice dry, mild 55 degrees here today. Finally got my new hand guards from Memphis Shades fitted, along with new bar bag from San Diego Customs. Took a ride out to see the new Harley store in Newmarket. It's not officially open for a few more days, but it's looking very impressive, much bigger than the previous premises.

Oh and the strath creek road allows for some decent lean angles...

Tall Timber, it sure is nice riding country there! Looks like it! I bet it is!

Just cleaning rear wheel well this morning. Installed speed bleeders. Going to install the new belt pulley and rotor later today.

Edit: the rear wheel and spokes are cleaned. Best cleaning they will ever get probably since the wheel is off the bike and the rotor and pulley is off the wheel. I plan to reinstall the pulley and rotor later today. I need a nap first - lol.

Looking good. Bet it will slow your ride down faster and quicker than the stock set up. Let us know, when you can. tp
