Also, just wanted to say that I am putting the stock risers and handlebars back on the bike for now, yet the handlebars and risers below are what will eventually be installed. They should be a direct swap with no change in cables or lines. The Ness handlebars look like they will provide much more adjusting possibility.
That's the plan anyway - see how it goes. Expensive.

To finish the look, you might want to get your brake rotor polished to a mirror finish. It'll help resist rust too.

Anybody happen to know the thread pitch (e.g., 3/4-10, 3/4-12, etc.) of the stock 3/4 axle? I'm not near mine...
That cleaned up real nice. I'm a little surprised. (I assume the chrome cover was held on with adhesive.)

Edit: also, slight change of plans on the handlebars and risers, bear with me, lol. Minds can change.
It will all make sense in the end when it finally comes together.

That'll do it!
I wonder if those aluminum trim panels will become difficult to find and/or expensive in years to come.

Thanks! Fine thread... Glad I asked. I could've sworn it was coarse.
