Seriously considering trading it in. Local dealer has a CHERRY '17 LRS with a hair over 3k on it, and multiple '18 street bobs..... should i wait till august?

Unless you just want something newer, what you already have, set up the way you have posted, is probably a better bike than the new ones. But don't listen to me, as I trade bikes like some change out underwear. tp

Hardware includes windshield frame and mounting clamps. I purchased the Memphis Shades MEP 6230 on ebay from Leclare motorsports for $82.19. All the holes line up perfectly with the hardware. What I like about the HD clamps is you get about an extra 2" of adjustment vs. the others .
Paying it forward, to add to Qdog002's helpful info, some observations:
- The Memphis Shades windshield that was recommended is made of Lucite Acrylic (harder to scratch; easier to shatter), where the Harley-Davidson windshield I'm swapping out uses Hard-coated Polycarbonate (harder to shatter; easier to scratch, although they coat theirs so not really sure).
- Memphis Shades windshields is about 30% thicker than Harley-Davidson windshields (took a close up of them side by side).
- The Lucite Acrylic material used by Memphis Shades is a lot clearer than the Hard-coated Polycarbonate material used by Harley-Davidson (maybe 10% shading, not sure if that's due to the 2 years I've had it).
- Due to the slightly thicker material, I had to go to Lowes to get 1/4" longer bolts, and some counter sunk washers...the finished look is actually really nice!
I'd hate to throw away the 14" OEM glass, since its like new (unless the 10% density is an issue), no scratches at all...if anyone wants it, PM me...its yours if you send me a shipping label for a 22.5" x 29" x 4" box, probably 10 LBS (I don't have a scale)...I'll drop it off to ship to you.
I love this forum, lots of good advice, and I saved a few hundred dollars, that I would have spent buying Harley-Davidson's next taller windshield.
Thanks,
Don
