That makes sense, now! I really like your paint/scotchbrite upgrade

I've been seriously looking at using the #41174-07 Deuce solid rear on my '13 Wide Glide as well, I fell in love with that look when the special edition 1983 FXDG Wide Glide was released and my previous Wide Glides all ended up with solid rear wheels and spoke wheels up front.

With the new Deuce wheel being chrome, I'd have it powdercoated a gloss/vivid black

Bigger tank ?

I'd like to know id anyone with a Superglide has retrofitted a Fat Bob or other higher capacity fuel tank.

I assume the Superglide has a 4, maybe 4.5 gallon tank.
My ride, more specifically, is a m.y. 1995 80 cu.in. Superglide Sport

I'm looking for a 6 gal tank in order to have some serious range without having to resort to plastic fuel bottles etc.

AND searching 503 pages of thread has led to zero results.

If the particular Deuce wheel originally came off a bike, it will be 3/4".
If it's ordered from "Parts and Accessories", it can be used for 3/4", 1", and 25mm (25mm with bearing shim)

Several wheels are just like that...2000-06 16x3 "Fatboy" style wheels, 13-spoke Dyna/sportster wheels, etc

Maurizio, you might get better answers if you start a new thread.

If I could locate a nice and cheap rear 40 spoke hub for a Dyna (like the stock one on a Street Bob) I could get to my project of changing out my wheels. I could take my current rim apart, But I want to have two sets, one all around 16" and the other set being the current 17" in back and 21" up front.

So what are you looking for?

16" or 17" or either because the hubs are interchangeable?

After
I put a HD screaming eagle intake on with a bobber style cover.
also had short shots put on at the dealer but did the mapping and breather myself
i was afraid of breaking an exaust bolt so had them do it.
i am amazed at the difference
i didn't expect a lot from the fp3 map figured I'd have to auto tune but was wrong
i don't even have any decibel pop
very happy

The before shows my bare bone seat. Looks good but sundowner went back on after taking a few rides with the wifeLooks good but don't feel good
Before

Ordered some burly stiletto shocks yesterday. Being delivered today and installed tonight hopefully. Was going to wait and run something nicer later but got them for a stupid price. 13.5" should give a nice lean and pretty good ride.

Just the hub, I have the 16"x5" hoop already.
