Mocked up a shift linkage in CAD and ordered all the components. $50 shipped. All aluminum and fairly light. .18 lbs, supposedly.

I can't guarantee fitment yet or final appearance yet. I should have the parts late this week or early next. That said, everything came from www.speedwaymotors.com Everything is available in multiple sizes/lengths, so you can mix & match to suit your needs. Most (all?) rods there are turnbuckle style, so you need one LH and one RH rod end to make it work.

Here is my invoice:

Thanks, just looks the stuff up, to bad they don't offer the heim joints in black at 5/16-24. Still, this appears to be a nice setup and way cheaper then what the MoCo would offer it for.

I would have preferred anodized black, but I'll gladly paint whatever I get. If they're silver, I may just leave them alone.

I had to order 6 sets of jam nuts, so I'll have 5 spare sets if anybody wants some.

Let us know how this comes out. I've never had any problems with them locally. tp dd50

Local CG directed me to contact Dulop to get the ball rolling. Also found out Dunlop closes at 4:00PM...so this will wait until tomorrow.

On another note, I only needed to wash and wax my SB to turn a 0% chance of rain into a pretty good rain storm on my way to work this morning.:icon_goofygrin: There's a reason why I leave my bike dirty.

I looked at it... This weather sucks. Rain and snow for the next few days.

Spent time out in the garage with the bike, listening to Metal Shop, having a few adult beverages, and getting a few things done.

Hit 53° today, cloudy with a bit of drizzle, now the salt covering the roads is a slurry mess; how about it, Mom. How about some nice spring rains then some warm temperatures? We're ready; we've been ready. The time's so near you can almost taste the wind on the road; I'm watching the extended forecasts, the day before First Light I'll bleed and flush the front and rear brakes and degrease the rotors; bring it.

Any time now Mom, it's time to head back out to the highway...

Once you have a prototype I reckon you'll sell a few of these on here.
