couldn't find the type of luggage rack needed for a beach trip.
Not saying my girl has a lot of baggage, but she mentioned last year about bringing a canopy for shade and a few folding chairs,
so, built one, added a second running/ tail-tight.
still removable, used a trailer plug, to disconnect the electrical.

Very nice! I wish I had a tube roller.

Gotta say, pretty F'n sweet!!! I've been considering a luggage rack for when the girl and I go on longer trips and I LOVE that you added a running light. I've really been trying to figure out how to add more light to the back of my bike and that certainly solves the problem.

Does that thing come with the HD recommended 10lb max load limit? Does look like it will serve it's purpose and that extra light is always a good thing.

That thing is bright! Now my wheels are turning. I'm gunna work on getting some small 4.5" LED lights from Custom Dynamics and add them to my sissy bar. Just gotta come up with a "quick" connect system so I can disconnect it when I take the back rest off. What kind of trailer plug did you use?

Thanks for the inspiration. haha Will post pics once it's complete. Thought about starting a thread asking for ideas....

....
flat 4 wire plug
It hides between the seat and right side bag,
Wires were run in the tubing, exit at the bottom/right side rack mount

Screwed the earbuds into my head and rocked out to August Burns Red and Memphis May Fire for three hours while I polished more stainless. Was a good evening but my fingers and back are sore now.
