Its been a 100+ degrees in the garage, like any good project I banged up a knuckle but no parts were injured in the process. I didn't notice it until there was red stuff dripping off the tire, so I did what everyone does and super glued the wound shut, built a bandaid and carried on my merry way.
So the Morris Wheels are installed my butt is kicked, and there is no scotch in the house... Here is what she looks like.

Have you done anything on the rear pulley to lock the bolts in? I've seen a few (Across social media) backing out of late (Especially on Built motors) taking out all and sundry including the wheel.
Peace of mind if you don't already have it.
I'm bored off my butt today. I would start taking off the handlebar controls, cables, and removing the ape hangars for the handlebar swap, but I plan to ride it as soon as I get the exhaust on. So I'll hold off on the handlebar swap until after I go for a ride.
I'm in limbo on this Harley makeover. Blah!

Thank you everyone for all the kind words and responses to my project. I'm keeping this short for today as work ate my brain... Tomorrow I will be back and write something proper.
Thanks Again: Mike

Installed the two small black crossover pipe heat shields and joined the front and rear pipe together at the crossover pipe:
I'm waiting on the exhaust gaskets to arrive then I'm going out to the shop and plan to work on the exhaust all night. I will be glad when this exhaust goes back together. I want to get it all behind me and move on. I forgot to order some stainless steel worm gear clamps for the chrome heat shields so I ordered those.

Got to do another real world test of the Big Brake rotor, Lyndall pads, and my threshold/maximum braking practice again today.
Blond with a 'can I speak to the manager' haircut on her iPhone in a red SUV. They've shut down one of the main routes in this burg, the bridge is being torn out. Completely unannounced and raises more than a few questions about the infrastructure in this Country, but that's a debate for another time.
The traffic is heavy on this road now; and the blond never looked left. It was the SMIDSY with the LED headlight that got her attention. I'm in the left position of the right lane, and traffic was solid in the left lane, not any escape there. She stopped the SUV like a deer in the headlights blocking the right lane.
Went from 40 MPH to 0 MPH, front wheel about 3 feet from her driver's side door as she stared out the driver's window with her pink phone plastered to her pathetic bobble headed face.
Practice your heavy braking, folks. You never know when you'll need it.
I hate people...

Aye! Me too, sometimes.
Put new exhaust gaskets on, loosely fit most of the exhaust. I need a break-it's fighting me!
