Finished up the preps for her winter's sleep. Fogged the cylinders with Sta-bil fogging oil and changed out the NGK DCPR7EIX Iridium plugs for fresh Iridium plugs. Two seasons on those plugs, never an issue; cleaned them and tucked them away as spares.

Used 1 1/2 cans of Pig Spit on all the wrinkle black cases, cylinders, the pulley, the peg mounts, and the calipers. If it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing

Detail waxed her, and checked the torque on all the spokes.

Good to go, let the snow forecast for tomorrow begin the horror that is winter...

You must of had two bowls of Wheaties to complete all that. I have been slowly doing the same but each day that it hits 50 or above I get out for a few miles. Praying for a mild winter.

Kicking around several different ideas right now.

Cams? Well, pushrods, S&S premiums, might as well pull the heads and send them out, if you're in that deep you might just as well pull the cylinders, etc, etc etc.

It ends up, down the rabbit hole you go

If I do nothing else I've got to get in that primary; the clanking of that junk compensator is getting louder, the primary chain is tight again and is very annoying. I'll call Mark@BakerDrivetrain and get the Baker compensator and their Armored Attitude manual tensioner goodness in there

Had the 10k service done. Primary bearing had just started to chatter so they took care of it with new bearing. Thankfully having friends in the service dept that don't act like *** holes about doing it under warranty knowing the motor has work done.

Me? I've been making metal chips most of the day... I'll update my build thread later after I get some more done.

Try a strip of 1" wide sand paper, grit side out, oil the other side a wrap around part.

Acts like a bearing and will not scar part, just a nice polish and holds part rock steady.
