How many miles did you get out of your bearing? Looks awful dry in there too.
Mine was really loaded with grease, and lasted a whole 6,000 miles before it tried to saw the wheel hub in half...

Took mine for a nice long ride with a buddy from work. Traded bikes for the first half and rode his super glide. It's nice to try something different from time to time. It's even nicer to be back on your own ride though.

I started off as a new rider in 2015. First I got an Iron883 and after a couple of months realized I really wanted something bigger. I really do like the slim look of the Iron, that was what attracted me to it. But getting into the whole Harley experience, I realized I needed something else to fit my goals for what I wanted to get out of a riding experiencing locally, and long haul.
The first pic is the 2015 Fatbob I got at the end of 2015. Mods are:
--stage 1 air cleaner
--V&H short staggers
--detachable sissy bar
--Sumax XL hard bags
--Memphis Batwing fairing
--HD mustache engine guard
--painted gas tank to remove red stripe (ordering HD emblems soon)
This has gone on over the past couple of years. I did some of it. I should start another thread on the Sumax bags. I really do like them, but had to make some adjustments.

Didn't actually get to do it to my Dyna today but over the weekend I picked up everything I need to swap out my forwards for mids. Doing that next Saturday. Can't wait to be comfortable while I'm riding!

New rear tire and took the fairing off until I can get it painted, hopefully after the holidays...

What's weird is when the mechanic got the bearings our, he said it looked like someone had been in there before. He said it looked like someone had ground on the inside of the wheel. The ONLY time I've taken it in was to have tires put on at about 10k miles. They put the wheel on crooked which is what I think caused the bearings to wear out faster than it would've. I've going to be going back to the dealership who changed the tires and say something to them. Whether they do anything about it or not I don't really care, as long as they know what happened so so they don't do it to anyone else's bike.
