Today I finally got to enjoy the Lucky Dave’s bars I put on last week on my LRS. Worth every penny and expletive uttered during the install . Now I can’t decide whether I like it with the fairing on or off...

Wasn't able to order the rotors. New rotors and new Lyndall brake pads will be the next thing to order, then I will have all the parts i need to do the "rear end project" on the bike.

Project includes:

New polished rear rotor, brake pads
Brake fluid flush, fresh fluid
Chrome caliper hardware
New chrome 70T rear belt pulley
New Night Dragon rear tire, new tube, install ride on
Short rear turn signal stalks
New taillight to replace the cracked one
Chrome axle end/bolt covers

I think thats it

I will be sure to post pics. I have some good ideas for the future. I'll round up all the old take offs and sell them on Ebay to help fund some of it.

I want a custom paint job(black with airbrush flames that look real) May do twisted spokes, on the front wheel at least. May do 80 spoke front and rear wheel. I have many ideas. New better headlight, brighter blinkers. If I lose enough weight I'll lower the rear another inch. It's lowered one inch for now.

Stay tuned and glad you're interested! I figured what I do to the bike is just simple compared to what others are doing. I'm just an average motorcycle wrench. I'm doing mostly cosmetic stuff, bolt ons. I suppose the front end swap was fairly involved. It took some research and sourcing of parts, both new and used. The front end consists of 2008 Fat Bob triple trees, 2007 Wide Glide 21 inch front wheel, axle, and spacers. New drag style handlebars. Actually, I need to revisit some things on the front end, fine tune it all, so to speak - try dif length cables.

btw, here is the new chrome pulley:

Default Replaced A/C Insert

Replaced the stock Ventilator 103 HO insert with a Screamin' Eagle insert.

Also have a Cobra Powerpro RPT chrome 2 to 1 full system, and a fork brace on order.

Default Added my new solo seat

Added a new seat. In itself not a big task but had to drill the fender (hence the rag to catch all the metal)
