Default Thanks for the idea!

The stock Ventilator air filter was also replaced with a K&N HD-0910 air filter. Sealed the back side of the backing plate fuel line pass-throughs with a little 100% Silicone RTV.

Thanks for posting this method. I have been thinking about how I wanted to do this for a while. I just got it done thanks to you. I did use a different filter though.

Looks great, and you're welcome! I got the idea with help from Tin Cup Chalice and others on here.

Installed new bigger saddlebags, and moved the old saddlebags back to my wife's bike, since I "borrowed" them until these arrived, but had trouble getting them mounted. Finally, got them mounted, though they're not quite "straight" with the ground or pipes, but they have locks, and hold just about twice as much as the wife's bags do. Now, I'll have room/space to stash my chaps or jacket in them, if I don't want to wear them.

What do you think?
Then, I rode it to work, today, just like every other day! Started in the upper 60s, and supposed to reach highs in the upper 70s or low 80s this afternoon. Had some rain over the weekend, though, so humidities are UP, but should be a nice ride home.

That's great! Start talking up the MSF class for when she's old enough.
