Trailered it 85 miles to the stealership in Kennewick to have it fixed AGAIN! I'm done with Harley. Looked at an Indian Dark Horse today. Considering a Japanese cruiser too. Just something that won't break down all the time. No more Harleys for me!

Got the Low Rider inspected and took a nice cruise in the 70 degree May weather.

First impression:

Riding parameters for 1st 500 Mi
Not to exceed 3100 RPMs
Not to exceed 70 Mpg
Do not lug the motor

======================
Today

Cutting to the chase:

Hit 6th once - it was at the base of a ~ 1/4 mi / 45 degree-ish hill
Motor was spinning 2100 RPMs - hit the ~ middle of the hill..., rolled on the throttle - motor responded - no lag / no lug - hit 2800 RPMs easily - crested the hill then backed it back down

Overall
Rode in strong west wind on the Hwy - remained in 5th - varied around 2700 RPMs - hitting 70 / 75 Mph
Rode secondary roads and back roads
Road uphill / down hill / twisties / strait line

No matter the gear / RPM / condition - roll on the throttle - immediate response..., plenty of torque.., and then some to spare (does pull like a steam engine)

No leaks..., no weird noises..., oil temp stayed around 250

I'm one satisfied M-Fer
================

Side notes

Had the motor guy refurb the swing arm bushings / bearings while redoing the motor - it really needed it - scoot is planted and solid now

Motor now has that deep sound a HD should have

Way back I got crosswise with a few here telling me you can't hear a CAMed FI (ECU controlled) motor - as the ECU will compensate

The hell you can't - this thing lopes.., while idling at 1050 RPMs - not like an EVO's potato..., potato - but it is quite noticeable - especially if you're a motor guy

Looking forward to getting it broke in..., oil changed..., then finding the top end

Some eye candy

Ghost

Did a little work in the garage. Tore the front end apart for a new front suspension and gloss black swap. Scored a black lower tree and set of LRS fork lowers for a great price. And the fairing was a gift from a friend. Just needs some paint.

Front Suspension: Traxxion Dynamics .95 Spring with Riccor Intiminators and Speed Merchant Pre-load adjusters.
