At 10F, nothing but look at it and plug in the battery tender for the first time since winter fell. I didn't plug it in after I put it in the air because I wanted to know about how long I could leave it before it was dead. Left it too long and still don't know. Less than 3 months... My bad.

Laid the new swinger on the table with it's partner in crime (sprocket) and started thinking about a custom axle...

I like the new air filter cover.
I've got a pile of take off parts. About once a year I go through to find any that might have some value and sell them on here.

6AL-4V titanium 1 1/2" dia. $8.95 an inch....approx. 2 hrs machining on a conventional lathe. You've got me thinking now.

Beautiful part Chris!

Today I'm so bored (waiting on triple trees and shyt) that I washed this part, and posted a picture. If I have to wait much longer I might forget how to put this bike back together.

I have complete faith in the fact that you can do it correctly. Just keep posting pictures, to keep your mind whirling... tp dd50

Tell me more. One at a time, and you couldn’t get the first shock back on?
prob could have used a jack outta your car or truck with the bike on the side stand in a pinch

well my thoughts were i could pull just the top of the shock off to replace the stock strut cover w a new chrome one. It wasn't budging though so i figured as long as i just pulled one shock at a time it would work. Nope, it dropped a bit. I could pick the *** end up a bit but not off the ground. Was fighting for like a stupid 1/8 of an inch more i needed to raise it.

i don't mind getting a jack but wish it wouldve been a more convivient financial time where i could've gotten a nicer one. Anyway it should be here by tomorrow night.
