Default Too cold to ride?

I got my first Dyna last month and am itching to ride, however it's only 20deg today. Dry roads, but COLD. I have the gear, but I'm concerned about shitty stock tires on below freezing roads. I haven't upgraded tires yet - part of the reason I want to ride - to take it over to the shop for the Night Dragons they have waiting for me (among other things :-)

I've ridden my other bike near freezing, but with ABS and traction control, it's a bit safer.

How cold do you ride?

30 degrees to commute to work with the proper gear. (The stock tires, though not my first choice, certainly wouldn't stop me from riding in that weather.)

20 should be fine, as long you don't hit patches of ice on the road. Yes, traction will be down substantially at that temperature, so ride easier than you normally would.

It can be fun though, spinning the tire or "flat-tracking" when you normally couldn't.

Using engine power to hang the back end out a little bit. Normally done on dirt tracks, but it can be done at slow speeds on asphalt when tire adhesion gets low enough. Maybe it would have been better understood if I'd called it "drifting".

"Flat track" race:
