After reading the threads and looking at all the pics, it looks like the best way to keep from spending the coin on a J&S jack.
My question is about the clutch cable. Looking at my bike (2009), seems cable might be in the way. Wouldn't want to smash it. Any and all input is appreciated. Thanks
The modified Sears Red Jack works just fine with my 09 FXD,, nothing get's in the way or pinched. Ya do gotta look under there and get it next to the Jiffy Stand just right.
After I modified my Craftsman red jack, the pads sit on the frame On my '10 FXD just aft of the oil pan and almost directly under the engine. With my bike, the clutch cable is routed really close to the engine at a place where it is protected by the frame from any weight bearing contact with the jack pad...

No issues with my clutch cable but sometimes it take a couple tries to get it good and snug against the side stand.
