Cocktail Shakers on Dyna?
I can't be the first to wonder if cocktail shaker slip on mufflers will work on a Dyna but I can't find any pics.
This tells me it either won't work or just isn't a popular thing to do. Anyone tried them? I'm planning an FLH\Dyna style bike and think it would work on that style of bike. |
Um...what?

I like the idea!

Yeah, there's a real reason you can't find any pics .They look stupid.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words so maybe this will help. Try to visualize a kick ass bike similiar to what fskitch, AFMM3, and others on the FL-Dyna Interest Group have put together. Then add cocktail shaker mufflers in an attempt to keep in line with that retro feel.
Attached is a pic of Slim Stocktons bike with cocktail shakers. Retro feel but on a softtail. I want to apply that feel to my Dyna. Clear as mud right? https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.hdf...648e22aabd.jpg |
Can you post up a pic of what your thinking?
I did a quick image search and seen some killer Hardtails and cafe stuff going on.And dont ever sweat the naysayers. Ever seen the movie The Village? Same idea. |
|
Hell yeah, go for it! I think they would be awesome, old school cool. I've always liked them especially the upswept ones. Don't sweat the haters, haters are always gonna hate.

Hmm, the only two people that said anything negative ride plane jane, bolt on boredom, type bikes. No creativity at all.
I'll stick with the creative group. Much more fun :) |
