Default Lucas in Transmission?

I put a bit of lucas in my tranny with HD formula oil & today checked it after 2000 mile and I notice there is a white foam floating to the top.. It doesn't seem like a big deal, the formula oil is pretty thick oil anyway... I'm going to let it ride. It says right on the Lucas bottle to use 25% in transmissions. I won't add it next time though.

has anyone else tried lucas in the transmission?

This right here Except my '13 Wide Glide needs 29 ounces to fill her transmission, the old 5-speed girls loved it too...

Foam pretty much means there is air being created in the fluid, you have two oils that are not mixing or not very compatible, in a nut shell you have air pockets between the gears of the trans ~ not good.

Drain it and put in the proper fluid with no additives, if you use a good syn fluid you don't need anything extra.

These slick 50 type additives are old and outdated with today's oils.

IMHO of course, company's that sell that crap may have a different opinion
