Default Arlen Ness Damper Kit on a 2006 Street Bob. Wrong OD?

I just swapped bars on my 2006 Street Bob. While the bars were being switched, I installed some Arlen Ness poly bushings. I noticed the outside diameter for the bushings are not snug in the upper triple tree like the original one's. Like a quarter inch too "loose". I just centered them and tightened them up to shop manual torque specs. I searched threads here for any complaints and found nothing. I double checked the part numbers online and they appear to be the correct ones.

Any thoughts? I'm using part #08-005.

Thanks!

I called Alren Ness tech support. The tech thinks I got a mis-packaged item. We'll see. Waiting on returns department to call me back. I hope this helps someone looking for why his Street Bob poly's don't fit...
