Default Screaming eagle heavy air breather

Hey guys I'm thinking about putting one of these on my bike. I have a couple questions. First off I'm 6'1 and have extended controls on my street bob. How bad is my knee going to rub if it does at all. Second question. I have Vance and Hines exhaust and a Vance and Hines air cleaner already. If I change to the heavy will I have to remap? Third. Anyone have pictures of these on their bikes? Thanks

Don't know for sure on the rubbing but I would wager yes it will rub. Probably about as much as your current.
You should not have to remap. Most every air cleaner set up flows roughly the same. If you want it dead on then sure, but you won't notice a difference.

Default Heavy Breather

I have a HB on my Dyna along with mid controls and forward highway pegs. I find my knee rubs less on the HB than on my ham can breather on the Roady. The reason is that the snorkel tube on the HB comes out of the intake and turns forward and gives me more clearance for my legs. I'm only 5'10" so I am not as tall as you but I've got plenty of room between my leg (knee) and the intake.

This is the Vance and Hines cleaner I have now. Just wonder if the HB will rub my knee less

From the pic, I'm guessing less. I have a HB on my SB and I'm 5'10 with full forward controls. The bend in the HB lays against my leg and knee but I don't notice it as a problem.

I'm 6'3" and no issue with knees unless I put my feet on the pads on the Mustache engine guard. I just bend my knee slightly with my foot on the outside edge and it does okay.

Here you go. The 62 mm one on the 120R.

I also bought the SE Heavy Breather and the instructions say "You must recalibrate the ECM when installing this kit. Failure to properly recalibrate the ECM can result in severe engine damage (00399b)"
Is this fact for BS ?

13 Heritage. Arlen Ness Big Sucker stage II. Im 6'2. See my picture. I really don't have issue's of the air cleaner being in my way. I find that being tall Im usually planting my feet on the leading edge of the running boards which puts my knee area out board of the air cleaner.
