Help a Newbie out ? Exhaust question
2011 Fat Bob
So I'm learning as I go here. Looks like I bought some pipes before doing a little research first. Here's the current set up on the bike. Rush Slip Ons, HD Stage 1 air cleaner and HD stage 1 download. I bought a set of Vance and Hines Straightshots.
So here are my questions:
1) If I was to put the quiet baffles on the VH pipes would that be enough restriction to work with the already installed Stage 1 Download
2) If not would I have to remove the stage 1 download and go with Sreaming Eagle Super Pro Tuner ?
3) If I put a VH Fuel Pak on would I have to remove stage 1 DL first ?
Thanks

1) The baffle choice is more of a personal preference, I think the quiet would be better unless you are planning more engine type upgrades.
2) No, but a real fuel tuner is Waaaaay better than the Stage 1 download. I recommend the Power Vision tuner from Fuel Moto - they will install a tune based on your set up.
3) No, you can adjust the Fuel Pak from the Stage 1 but again, make sure you get a tuner that a dyna operator can tune with, you never know what you might be doing next year...
