Default question about rear led signals

Ok guys, I'm thinking about going with a set of alloy art turn signals. I am not running any front signals at all. And will soon have a led head light. Will I require a load equalizer? My bike is an 06. When I removed the front signals, my rears had no issue and didn't blink any faster or slower than before. Some people have told me that without the load equalizer the led signals would blink fast. Is this true? If so is it a big deal?

I always thought they were necessary.

Pre 2012 you need load equalizer unless the crazy fast blinking won't bother you. It won't do any harm not having it, but the rapid blink you bug me personally.

I haven't seen anyone say that their turn sigs themselves blink faster, just the indicator on the dash.

I never bothered installing the equalizer, sigs function (blink at same speed) same as stock, just the indicator blinks faster which I actually prefer.

Also, it'll shorten the life expectancy of the turn signal module.

Thats the way they work on my 14 Low Rider, however, needed load equalizer, used Biketronics, on my 09 Low rider.

Used leds front and rear.

Check your local law cause here in Cali you can get pulled over if your blinkers, blink to fast. Stupid but typical profiling, just a reason to pull you over to harass you.

I'm pretty sure you'll need an equalizer on '11 and previous Dynas. No biggy, nothing that ~$60 won't fix...

I don't have a load eq on my '04 running rear LED signals and LED taillight and nothing blinks fast. Just install the LED's and see what happens, you don't even need tools. If your bike blows up, it was just it's time to go
