hey guys so i have a ness fairing currently but want to switch it up to the rifle fairing. i was on the rifle website and their roadster fairing looks very similar to the ness and i was just wondering if i could just get the rifle windshield and bolt it up to the ness fairing or if i need to get the whole rifle setup. any help is appreciated!!

 

No doubt you can fit the rifle windshield on the ness fairing but it will be either butt ugly or involve a ton of professional work, which not all of us are capable of. The windshield fitments are completely different.

Selling the ness will get you little bit back.

I have not seen the ness fairing in person but the rifle fairing is a quality piece of kit, apart from the installation brackets, which suck, and needed to be tweaked with additional brackets. Also I think I waited for 3-4 months to get mine. Ok, it had to be shipped here overseas but still I think that is a long delivery time.

But I love the look and functionality after all the waiting and extra hassle in installation.

In my opinion the JD T-Sport replica is even nicer looking, plus I hear the windshield is adjustable. But I don't think I will change any time soon as I am satisfied enough with the rifle.

 

southeast customs has a kit that i might consider getting. its only $400 and his stuff is pretty good in terms of installation
