Default 2015 Dyna Front Brake Light Switch

Ok - I'm a dope. Had my right switch housing apart and can't seem to figure out the proper way to put it together so that the brake light switch is seated properly.

The brake light switch is new & improved over the old design with the soft rubber boot that often tore. The new one is white plastic.

Does anyone have a diagram of the switch housing on newer Dyna's that may show me the proper position of the switch and where the wire for it routes?

When I get mine back together, the switch isn't seated flush and too much pressure causes it to work intermittently.

Again - this is a new design of the switch. The old style with the soft rubber and need to use cardboard no longer applies.
Surprised I can't figure this out....I did it fine a few weeks ago, but struggling today...

The new brake switch is a $16 part, part # 71500118, so even still you aren't out much if you did damage it, but it looks like there is a tab that locks the switch into place.

See the tab at the top edge.

So, when looking from the top down into the bottom half of the switch housing - does the brake light switch seat vertically or horizontally? Is that tab pointed at the bottom of the switch housing?

Just figured it out.

1. Put main switch assembly in first so it's seated flush on the 2 screw areas
2. Slide brake switch in vertically with tab towards top
3. Insert retainer bracket and then the screws

Thanks for the help - it helped!
