Default Weekend riding "forked"

Dropped my WG off at the dealer last night for 1000 mile service, begged them to get it done for the weekend. Dealer said no problem. Asked them to check stearing bearings adjustment due to the WG clunk when ya hit the front brake. Get a call @ noon, service manager says we need to order a part for your bike and we wont have it till monday. While torqing fork pinch bolts one cracked. WTF! No riding for me this weekend[/align]

they sound like liars to me.

how do you crack a fork pinch bolt? they can withstand 100 ft-lbs - easy. I ruined 2 sockets trying to loosen mine up - the bike had 3K miles on it at the time.

if you can't tell - I hate my incompetent service dept and they will only see my bike again if something breaks under warranty.

Flide05, Good for you. No one can take care of your bike the way you can... with TLC.

The only reason I took it to the dealer is they gave me the 1000 mile service free when I bought the bike. I guess some people can't read or set a torque wrench(or even use one). This is my 2nd bike and different dealer and both service dept. suck. The moco will hear about it but do they give a s**t!
