Default '11 Wide Glide wheels on a '10 Super Glide?

I want spoke wheels with black rims on my 2010 Super Glide.
I found a set of stock wheels from a 2011 Wide Glide.
Will they bolt right on?
I really want a 17" in the front too instead of the 21". Did H-D make a 17" rim that looks like the rear of the Super Glide but is not as wide?

I'm kind of surprised that no one answered.
Maybe the question is so stupid that it doesn't deserve an answer.
Maybe the question is so tough that no one knows the answer.

The Rear wheel is the same, so it fits... But the Front, no fitty

The wide glide hub is too wide for your mid-glide forks

HD only put 17" fronts on 07-later Fatboys (dunno for sure if spokes were an option) and 09-later "Touring" bikes and they are also too wide for your forks. I also don't think any came with black hoops.

You could probably have a 17" hoop laced to your mid-glide hub

I found an '09 Road King front wheel that is 17"x3" 40 spoke chrome rim. I have also found a company that will sell me an aluminum rim that will work but I would need a hub to put it on.
Will the wider hub not work because of the brake rotor or the overall width at the axle?

The overall hub width is too wide including brake rotor(s) positioning, if that's what you're asking. You need to stick with the Dyna mid-glide hub.

The easiest way to get black rims would be to buy a set off a '09 or newer Street Bob. But they'll be the same diameter as stock (19" front, 17" rear).

Buying a black 21" rim and lacing it to your existing hub is going to be the only way to have a black 21" on the front, short of buying a custom made one. As already mentioned, a Wide Glide hub is different.

Lacing a wheel isn't that hard. I did a thread on it a couple years ago when I did mine.

Then that is what I will do. Except I want a black 17" on the front. I already have the rear I just need a 40 spoke hub for the front that fits the mid-glide. '09 or newer Street Bob you say? I'll keep my eye out for one.
Thanks for the info.

Then I guess I have a piece of art to hang on the wall until I sell it. I got the set for $350.

Is there any reason you couldn't lace a black 17" rear rim onto a front mid glide hub? Might be too wide? I can't think of a stock bike that had a 17" laced front wheel in black.

I would guess you could probably fit a rear rim through a set of Wide Glide trees, and you conveniently already have a Wide Glide hub...

The rear looks to be 4.50" wide. The front tire I like is a 130/80 17. It is best on about a 3.25" rim. It would be too flat on a 4.50" rim.
The Fat Bob has a 16" on the front and rear. That is the look I'm going for but in 17".
I basically want the biggest dual sport tire I can find on the rear of this bike. They seem to max out at 180 wide on a 17".
